Job summary

FlowGen Labs seeks a senior backend/AI systems engineer to define architecture and deliver end-to-end solutions. You will lead builds across Node.js services, AI workflows, and integrations with enterprise systems, owning quality and reliability.

Your work will impact how agents reason, act, and scale within SAP-augmented environments. In this in-person role in the San Francisco Bay Area, you will move fast, embrace new stacks, and drive pragmatic shipping while maintaining high craft.

Qualifications

• Experience building distributed systems in production environments.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or CDK.
• Strong observability using metrics, tracing, logs and SLOs.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Milvus).
• Experience orchestrating agentic workflows and retrieval augmented generation.
• Hands-on use of AI tools with practical development, testing, data, and support ideas.
• Ownership mindset and clear communication across teams.
