Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for our Data Platform team in San Francisco, CA to lead strategy, architecture and operation of our data and AI platforms, delivering real-time, data-driven insights.

You will mentor engineers and data scientists, drive cross-functional initiatives and advocate for best practices across the data platform including ETL, Lakehouse architectures, and cloud-native tooling.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data platforms and leadership in cross-functional initiatives.

• Strong expertise in ETL frameworks, data security, and metrics stores.
