Walmart Data Ventures is seeking a Staff Software Engineer- Data Engineer to lead scalable platform work and cloud-native AI/ML initiatives in Bellevue. You will mentor engineers, drive design reviews, and partner with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or 4+ years in software engineering.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience as an alternative.
• Experience with cloud-native and data-driven platform development.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of scalable platform capabilities.
• Own full software development lifecycle from coding to maintenance.
• Apply cloud-native principles for scalable, resilient systems.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure architectural alignment.
• Build AI-driven apps and integrate ML components.
