Walmart is seeking a Staff Software Engineer in Bentonville to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable platform capabilities, including infrastructure, tooling, and AI/ML frameworks. You will drive the full software lifecycle, applying cloud-native architecture to boost resilience and agility.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field with 4+ years in software engineering or 6+ years experience.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, containers, and automation.
• Ability to lead full SDLC, including CI/CD, testing, and observability.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks aligned with roadmap priorities.
• Apply cloud-native architecture principles to ensure scalable, resilient, and agile systems.
• Lead full software development lifecycle activities including coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Conduct system design reviews to validate quality and alignment with architectural standards.
• Build AI-driven applications integrating ML components and automation features.
• Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex problems into actionable technical requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement through data-driven practices and innovation.
