What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, deployment, and production support
- Architect and guide the building of end-to-end systems optimized for performance, scale, and reliability
- Work primarily in Go, Java, React, and JavaScript
- Collaborate with multiple teams on the creation and consumption of services
- Ensure high standards for application performance, uptime, and code quality
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 7+ years of experience in building large-scale software applications
- Must have 3-5 years of experience running and supporting production systems on public cloud platforms such as AWS
- Experience in designing and building services with AWS is essential
- Knowledge of Go, Java, React, and JavaScript
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related engineering field, or proven experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the data domain and knowledge of building data pipelines
- Familiarity with designing and integrating RESTful APIs
- In-depth knowledge of cloud-based offerings and orchestration technologies (e.g., AWS Step Function, Airflow)
- Excellent debugging and optimization skills
- Experience in unit/integration testing
