What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, deployment, and production support
- Architect and guide the creation of end-to-end systems optimized for performance, scale, and reliability
- Work primarily with programming languages including Go, Java, React, and JavaScript
- Collaborate across teams to ensure user experience and product strategy align with customer-centric design
- Ensure application performance, uptime, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 7+ years of experience in building large-scale software applications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related IT field
- Experience running and supporting production systems on public cloud platforms such as AWS for 3-5 years
- Proficiency in designing and building services with AWS and integrating RESTful APIs
- Strong coding practices, including well-documented code and debugging optimization skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the data domain and knowledge of building data pipelines
- Familiarity with multiple Cloud PaaS persistence technologies and orchestration technologies (e.g., AWS Step Function, Airflow)
- Understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as SOX, PCI, HIPAA, and Data Protection
