lululemon Athletica Inc. seeks a Staff Software Engineer for Checkout and Post Purchase Web Experiences. You will shape engineering standards, drive architectural decisions, and balance hands‑on coding with leadership across teams. Hybrid workplace with on‑site collaboration four days a week.

You will mentor engineers, improve reliability, and deliver high‑impact guest experiences from cart through post‑purchase, tracking, order management and returns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 9–12 years of software development experience defining technical strategy and standards across an organization.
• Proven ability to decompose ambiguous technical challenges into effective, scalable solutions.
• Experience designing enterprise integration patterns and strategic architectural decisions.
• Familiarity with SLO/SLI, cost optimization, and platform reliability at scale.
• End‑to‑end experience with IaC pipelines for build, packaging, and deployment (Gitlab, AWS, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise software solutions and patterns that scale across teams.
• Drive multi‑team initiatives with minimal supervision and clear technical direction.
• Write exemplary code in critical areas when deep expertise is needed.
• Consult with senior engineers and architects on architecture and feasibility.
• Prototype and evaluate technology options for architects and teams.
• Establish coding standards, testing strategies, and development workflows.
• Lead design reviews and mentor engineers across the organization.
