lululemon seeks a Staff Software Engineer to own lower-funnel experiences on the web checkout and post-purchase flows. You will set engineering standards, consult with enterprise architects, and mentor engineers across teams to improve reliability and performance.

In this hybrid role, you will balance hands-on coding in critical areas with architectural leadership, shaping scalable web apps using modern JavaScript frameworks and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 9–12 years of software development experience defining technical strategy and standards.
• Proven ability to decompose complex technical challenges and align with business goals.
• Experience designing enterprise integration solutions and reliability practices.
• Strong track record of building secure, scalable web apps with modern tech stack.

Responsibilities

• Establish engineering standards and architectural patterns across the organization.
• Consult on architecture decisions with enterprise architects and balance hands-on work with advisory duties.
• Mentor engineers at all levels and drive initiatives to improve productivity and code quality.
• Lead multi-team initiatives, make key technical decisions, and ensure scalable solutions.
• Design reviews and evaluate technology options to support implementation and ops.
