Qualifications

• 10–15 years in software engineering; 3+ years leading teams or architecture.
• Expert Java (11/17+), JVM tuning, and memory analysis.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot microservices and distributed transactions.
• Relational DBs (Oracle) and SQL tuning; messaging with Kafka/JMS.
• CI/CD with GitLab/Jenkins; containerization with Docker/Kubernetes; PCI/security focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5–8 engineers; set coding standards and reviews.
• Drive architecture for high-throughput, low-latency card authorization services.
• Maintain PCI DSS compliance and secure logging practices.
• Oversee platform upgrades, network certifications, and incident response.
• Collaborate with Product, Security, and Ops to meet business goals.
