Job summary

BlackLine is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to help build the next generation of our data platform and connectors to ERP, banking, and subledger systems. You will mentor engineers while delivering scalable backend services, APIs, and data integration components in a hybrid/modern cloud environment.

You will lead design and architecture discussions, advocate for quality and security, and drive delivery across teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend SaaS experience with multi-tenant architectures.
• Proficiency in one of C#, Java, or C++.
• Strong data modeling and SQL/NoSQL skills.
• Experience leading design reviews and mentoring engineers.
• Experience with cloud, CI/CD, and security best practices.
• Exposure to data integration and ETL tools.
