We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Engineering team in London and help build the technology that powers our mission to eliminate identity fraud.

This is a high-impact role for an engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, building systems at scale, and influencing technical direction beyond a single team. We’re looking for someone who combines strong hands‑on engineering with Staff‑level technical leadership.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience building and operating large-scale backend systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Golang preferred; Java or Scala also relevant.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, REST APIs, and AWS.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to high-volume data, streaming, or event‑driven systems.
• Strong understanding of security, privacy, and data protection.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and comfort working through ambiguity.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical decisions.
• A track record of mentoring engineers and driving impact across teams.
