The App Surfaces team is the primary front door to the Google Home ecosystem, owning the user-facing interaction canvas across Core Mobile, Smart Displays, and Cross-Surfaces.
In this role, you will lead to drive system infrastructure and manage complex reliability issues. You will play a critical role in our ongoing technical strategy and help to lead our team to a unified Google Home Platform architecture. Your work will accelerate our feature development velocity and be tasked to help eradicate top detractor bugs.
The Google Home team focuses on hardware, software, and services offerings for the home, ranging from thermostats to smart displays. The Home team researches, designs, and develops new technologies and hardware to make users' homes more helpful. Our mission is the helpful home: to create a home that cares for the people inside it and the world around it.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
$207,000 - $300,000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
