Job summary

Snapchat is seeking a seasoned Android engineer to push the envelope of mobile experiences, building smooth, scalable features from design through launch and delivering production-ready apps for monetization.

You will lead technical initiatives, review code for correctness and security, and leverage AI tools to optimize architecture, performance, and user experience in demanding, large-scale mobile applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
9+ years of post-bachelor software development experience
1+ years of technical leadership or domain expert
Experience with Android application development
Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, RxJava, Dagger
Ability to prioritize duties and work independently
Proficiency in leveraging AI tools and auditing generated output for architecture, performance, and security
Adaptability in learning and applying evolving AI systems and tools
Preferred: experience with large-scale customer-facing mobile applications
Preferred: experience leading teams to deliver sophisticated initiatives

Responsibilities
