AudioEye is seeking a Staff Engineer to drive the technical direction of our platform. You will design and build large-scale, reliable systems that detect, remediate, and prevent accessibility issues across millions of websites, using AI and agentic workflows.

You will mentor junior engineers, shape the technical roadmap, and balance short-term delivery with long-term sustainability while maintaining ownership and autonomy in a fast-changing environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience with design, implementation, and operations.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, including React and Node.js.
• Experience with relational, NoSQL, and document storage.
• Proven record of solving deep problems in distributed systems and real-time data.
• Ability to mentor teams and balance short-term delivery with long-term sustainability.

Responsabilités

• Technically lead one or more engineering teams through design, implementation, and operations.
• Drive the technical roadmap balancing short-term delivery with long-term goals.
• Partner with Product, Design, and engineers to deliver reliable, secure systems.
• Build web-scale systems with service-oriented architecture and data modeling.
• Mentor engineers on AI-assisted development, prompting, and risk management.
• Define team standards for responsible AI use across code review, testing, and security.
• Evaluate new AI tools and adopt those that improve delivery.
