Job summary

Corgi is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to help build systems powering our insurance operations and core platforms. You will collaborate with product, operations, and leadership to design and ship software across underwriting, claims, finance, compliance, and internal tooling.

This is a hands-on role focused on rapid delivery, strong ownership, and measurable business impact, with exposure to senior leadership and core operators from day one.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Typescript, Python, React, FastAPI, Django, Flask, AWS.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and APIs.
• Personal projects or side projects demonstrating technical curiosity.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain internal and customer-facing software systems.
• Design backend services, APIs, and infrastructure.
• Work across the stack to ship new features and products quickly.
• Partner with non-technical teams to automate manual workflows.
• Improve reliability, performance, and scalability of existing systems.
• Contribute to technical architecture and engineering standards.
• Help shape engineering culture as we grow the team.
