Job summary

TriSearch is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to advance its cloud platform and build AI-powered solutions in a hands-on leadership role. You will work across teams to modernize systems, implement secure and scalable architectures on AWS, and drive engineering excellence.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled automation, reliable delivery, and collaboration with senior tech leaders, with remote USA or Denver hybrid options and a strong impact on product operations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience including Senior/Staff level.
• Hands-on experience deploying production software.
• Extensive AWS cloud tech experience (Lambda, EventBridge, DynamoDB, Step Functions; ECS, RDS, API Gateway).
• Proficiency in Python, Java (Spring Boot), or TypeScript/React.
• Able to understand and modify existing PHP applications.
• Experience with security, vulnerability management, and secure SDLC practices.
• Experience with SRE: monitoring, observability, incident response.
• Strong CI/CD, automated testing, deployment strategies and release management.
• Experience with AI governance or agentic AI development is a plus.
• Ability to set technical standards across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI-powered apps and autonomous agents using AWS Bedrock and modern LLM frameworks.
• Build scalable, cloud-based apps using AWS serverless and traditional architectures.
• Lead modernization of legacy apps and upgrade frameworks.
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities across apps, infra, and cloud.
• Establish engineering standards and secure coding guidelines across teams.
• Improve production monitoring, observability, incident response, and reliability.
• Develop and enforce CI/CD, automated testing, and release management standards.
• Implement AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity and speed delivery.
• Enhance visibility into third-party integrations, API performance, and system health.
