EMERGE is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to drive technical excellence and AI adoption across its cloud-based software platform. You will influence architecture, standards, and development practices, partnering with leadership to establish reusable patterns and AI-first workflows.

You will lead multiple teams, advance security, scalability, and quality, and mentor engineers while accelerating delivery through automation and modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise-scale applications and distributed systems.
• Expert knowledge of software engineering principles, OO design, data structures, algorithms, and system architecture.
• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud-native development, and SaaS platforms.
• Strong background in CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices.
• Experience designing APIs (Apigee or similar) and AI-enabled development workflows.
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence in Agile environments.

Responsabilités

• Research, design, and deliver scalable technical solutions across multiple product teams.
• Establish technical standards, reusable frameworks, and development best practices.
• Promote AI-first software development, including AI-assisted coding, testing, and documentation.
• Create and maintain engineering standards, guidelines, and architectural patterns.
• Influence architecture and system design, addressing scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Drive productivity via automation, tooling, CI/CD, and AI-enabled practices.
• Develop reusable components, services, APIs, and shared engineering frameworks.
• Lead AI agent patterns and multi-agent workflows while ensuring security and quality.
• Advance modern software principles: automated testing, CI/CD, observability, cloud-native architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate technologies and support strategic tech initiatives.
• Mentor engineers, review designs, and help teams solve complex challenges.
