Job summary

AudioEye is seeking a Staff Engineer to drive the technical direction of our platform, building large-scale, reliable systems that detect and remediate accessibility issues across millions of sites. You will blend architecture, hands-on development, and leadership to ensure security, scalability, and performance.

You will mentor engineers, shape the technical roadmap, and balance rapid delivery with long-term quality, owning complex problems and enabling AI-assisted workflows to improve delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience with design, implementation, and operations of critical systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and making system-level tradeoffs.
• Strong background in distributed systems and real-time data technologies.

Responsibilities

• Technically lead one or more engineering teams through design, implementation, and operations.
• Drive the technical roadmap balancing short-term needs with long-term sustainability.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to deliver impactful, reliable systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion responsible AI use across projects.
