Job summary

Cority, Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join a fast-paced, collaborative team. You will design and enhance Cority software, work with Product Development to meet client needs, and drive architectural decisions.

You will mentor juniors, lead technical initiatives, and use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while aligning with product roadmaps. Remote collaboration and ongoing learning are emphasized.

Qualifications

University degree in computer science or related program.
8+ years of experience as a developer.
Strong understanding of software development process & lifecycle.
Experience with Agile & Scrum methodology.

Responsibilities

Drive technical and architectural decisions to meet product requirements and future needs.
Lead teams technically to drive production ready code.
Design and develop new software and enhance existing software for clients’ systems and Cority’s base software.
Communicate with Product Owners to ensure understanding of requirements and specifications.
Develop high-quality software and advocate automation for testing, integration, and deployment.
Review designs and participate in code reviews.
Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate work and help the team adopt them.
Track sprint work and provide visibility to the team.
Provide support and maintenance.
Own functional areas or projects and break down tasks into stories.
Mentor junior developers.
