Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an engineer to lead evaluation of startup acquisition opportunities in AI, cloud, and security. You will drive product evaluations, manage architecture discussions, and provide roadmap input for M&A.

You’ll partner with C-level leadership and work within the Product organization to guide strategic investments. The role requires researching new technologies, collaborating with Product and Engineering, and presenting concise opinions to leadership.

Qualifications

• Experienced in product development, solution architecture or engineering.
• BS/MS/PhD in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communicator.

Responsibilities

• Identify compelling opportunities that support strategic priorities with senior leaders and VCs.
• Partner with product teams to assess expansion opportunities and build consensus.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on valuation and integration.
• Lead all pre-transaction tech-diligence efforts.
• Bring transactions over the finish line.
• Create or find suitable test-loads and set up trial environments to test claims.
• Interact with strategic leadership to provide results and opinions on active deals.
• Represent Product and Engineering in initial Product calls and identify product fit.
• Act as main contact point for startups and cross-functional groups on integration and architecture.
