Job Title: Staff Software Engineer

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a Staff Software Engineer with a strong background in modern web technologies and a proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable applications.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead planning, design, and execution of large-scale features and system initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define technical requirements, scope, and roadmaps.
• Serve as a technical expert and go-to problem solver across engineering teams.
• Continuously improve code quality, architecture, and development processes.
• Contribute to and uphold engineering best practices, including code reviews and testing standards.
• Actively mentor and support team members, sharing knowledge and encouraging professional growth.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly across both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

• Extensive experience in frontend development with React and TypeScript.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, DynamoDB).
• Expertise in integrating and managing third-party APIs.
• Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Strong foundation in system design, architecture, and application performance optimization.
• Deep understanding of security best practices across applications and infrastructure.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, and writing/configuring YAML pipelines.
• Comfort with test automation, quality assurance, and containerization (Docker; Kubernetes is a plus).
• Experience working with or implementing AI/ML-powered features in production environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and mentor others effectively.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices.
• Interest in AI-powered development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor).
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., DataDog).
• Background in social media or creator/influencer platforms.
