Job summary

AutoRev AI is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to own entire product surfaces end to end, including backend systems, frontend, and AI integrations. You will help set technical and product quality standards for the team and work directly with the founders to turn strategy into shipped product.

Your work will affect dispatchers and technicians the same week it ships, with measurable impact through usage and customer feedback. This is a remote US role with fast-paced growth and strong ownership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product engineering experience shipping customer-facing software end to end.
• Comfortable across the full stack; you can ship a feature independently, not just your part of it.
• A track record of building something 0-to-1 that reached real scale, ideally as an early or founding engineer.
• Real experience shipping production AI or ML features that customers actually depend on.

Staff Software Engineer

Remote (US) Full-time Engineering

Own entire product surfaces end to end and set the technical and product bar for AutoRev's engineering team.

AutoRev AI builds the AI coworker for home service businesses. It answers every call and text, books the job, follows up on every lead, and clears the busywork that keeps techs and dispatchers off the tools they already run. HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and roofing companies run AutoRev today to stop losing revenue to missed calls and slow follow-up.

The role

This isn't a role where you optimize existing features. You'll define and ship the capabilities that AutoRev's next stage of growth depends on.

You'll own entire product surfaces end to end, set technical and product quality standards for the team, and work directly with the founders to turn strategy into shipped product.

What you build will be used by real dispatchers and techs the same week it ships. You'll see the impact directly through usage and customer feedback, not through a roadmap review three quarters later.

What you'll do

Product ownership and delivery

• Own complete product surfaces end to end: backend systems, frontend, AI integrations, and everything between.

Technical leadership

• Design systems and architecture that can scale well past current usage.




• Set the bar for technical craftsmanship and product quality across the team.




• Build foundations other engineers can iterate on faster because of what you set up.




• Make real calls on architecture, infrastructure, and tooling that affect where the company can go.

Strategic impact

• Work directly with customers to understand workflows and turn what you hear into shipped product.




• Partner with the founders on product strategy and what to prioritize next.




• Act as a force multiplier: your work should make other engineers faster, not just yours.




• Mentor engineers through code review and technical guidance.

What we're looking for

Technical excellence

• 7+ years of product engineering experience shipping customer-facing software end to end.




• Comfortable across the full stack; you can ship a feature independently, not just your part of it.

• Bias for action balanced with real quality; you don't trade one for the other.

Nice to haves

• Experience setting engineering or product standards at a previous company.




• Comfortable operating in a high-ambiguity environment where you help define the playbook.
