Staff Software Engineer

The Company:

This fintech startup partners with large financial institutions to streamline operations through modern, AI-powered software. The team is on a mission to simplify enterprise finance with scalable, secure, and easy-to-use tools.

The Role:

As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll lead development across our full-stack platform. You’ll architect systems, own major projects, and help define technical direction. Other responsibilities include:

• designing and deploying systems using Python, NextJS, NestJS, and Typescript
• translating business needs into scalable software solutions
• building and managing infrastructure with Docker and AWS
• mentoring engineers and driving engineering best practices

Requirements:

• Expert-level experience in Python and Typescript
• Proven success building and scaling production apps using NextJS and NestJS
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and modern DevOps workflows
• Proficiency with Tailwind or similar frontend styling frameworks
• Experience in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

The Benefits:

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will receive a $200,000-$250,000 base salary. This role also includes equity, 401k, health, dental, and vision care.
