Job summary

Google is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on security data for Cloud CISO. You will guide technical vision, drive architecture, and manage cross‑team delivery across multiple sites.

You will mentor engineers, shape strategy, and collaborate with product security and operations to deliver robust, scalable data solutions. Expect a fast‑paced, impactful role within Google Cloud security initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
• 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java or Go.
• 3 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management).
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers and TPMs responsible for Cloud CISO's product security‑related data.
• Define and drive the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for the team, aligning with Cloud CISO's goals.
• Drive the adoption of advanced GenAI/LLM patterns to improve the accuracy and reliability of our data, and velocity of execution.
• Partner with Cloud CISO leadership, product security engineers, and operations teams to understand data needs, define requirements, and deliver robust solutions.
• Establish and enforce best practices for data quality, governance, and security.
