Job summary

Google seeks a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team delivering security-related data for Cloud CISO. You will set technical direction, mentor engineers, and drive data quality, security, and distributed systems excellence across multiple sites.

You will guide engineering strategy, collaborate with product security leaders, and advance GenAI/LLM-powered data solutions to protect customer data at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java or Go.
• 3 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management).
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
• Experience designing and implementing distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers and TPMs responsible for Cloud CISO's product security-related data.
• Define and drive the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for the team, aligning with Cloud CISO's goals.
• Drive the adoption of advanced GenAI/LLM patterns to improve the accuracy and reliability of our data, and velocity of execution.
• Partner with Cloud CISO leadership, product security engineers, and operations teams to understand data needs, define requirements, and deliver robust solutions.
• Establish and enforce best practices for data quality, governance, and security.
