Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have profound technical knowledge, aptitude for logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. As a software engineer on our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality Automation software that meets business needs. You will build highly scalable microservices, event driven systems and real time streaming pipelines. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a deep understanding of software engineering principles. Expectations for this role: Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using best practices and design patterns; Strategic thinking – able to identify a vision along with the plans, which need to be implemented to meet the end goal, evaluating situations, decisions, and issues in the short, medium, and long term; Analytical thinking - able to simplify complex problems, processes or projects into component parts explore and evaluate them systematically; Collaborate with various areas of the organization including business partners, product owners, architecture, security mavens, and IT engineering teams to understand business requirements and design specifications; Conduct research on emerging technologies, design principles, and development frameworks to ensure software solutions remain current, fresh, and future proof; Provide technical guidance in software design and development activities; Mentoring junior members of the team to develop their technical skills; Review Designs and Code to ensure Developers are building a scalable solution with at most quality; Provide recommendations for continuous improvement; Provide technical leadership direction, determining and developing approaches to solutions by coordinating multiple resources to solve complex problems; Improve DevOps processes and push for Automation as much as possible; Designing and implementing complex software solutions for API's, microservices, CICD, real-time streaming pipelines etc... on cloud. Required qualifications include at least 7 years of technology delivery experience, 5+ years with Azure or GCP Cloud Applications/services (Azure preferred), 5+ years with Agile processes, 5+ years designing and building software applications with expertise in modern programming languages and related technologies, and 3+ years leading software development projects. Preferred qualifications include promoting SAFe process techniques, experience with distributed teams, strong delivery practices, leading large technical programs, vendor experience, quick decision making, technical and security audit assistance, deep cloud technology understanding, and CI/CD tool experience. Education requirement is a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
