Job summary

BeyondTrust, Inc. is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to lead the evolution of the Password Safe platform, infrastructure, and deployment ecosystem.

You will bridge systems engineering and software development, architecting highly available, resilient systems across cloud and on-prem environments. Qualifications

• 7+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering, with at least 2 years in a Senior or Staff role.
• Systems architecture across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including cluster administration, networking, and security primitives.
• Release orchestration strategies such as Canary or Blue/Green deployments.
• Proficiency in at least one systems language (Go, Java, or C#) for automation and tooling.
• Strong observability practices using OpenTelemetry, Datadog, and Grafana.
• Everything as Code, GitOps workflows, and Infrastructure as Code best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, scale, and maintain highly available, secure, and resilient systems spanning cloud and on-prem environments.
• Champion platform engineering initiatives to reduce cognitive load for software engineers and accelerate velocity.
• Own and optimize foundational services including API gateways, service meshes, caches, configuration and secrets management.
• Drive a 'Everything as Code' culture with declarative, version-controlled infra and automated GitOps workflows.
