Are you looking to work on front-end systems that operate at a level most engineers never encounter?

We are hiring on behalf of a world-class quantitative trading firm for a Staff or Senior Software Engineer to build real-time, GPU-accelerated visualisation systems for live trading. This is not a typical front-end role. The performance bar here is closer to game engine or GPU rendering work than standard web development, and the systems you build will be used by some of the best trading teams in the world.

What you will be working on

• Optimising rendering pipelines, memory usage, and frame latency under extremely heavy, constantly updating data loads
• Collaborating directly with world-class quants, traders, and engineers on some of the most performance-critical front-end systems anywhere in industry
• Seeing your optimisations have immediate, measurable impact in live markets

What we are looking for

• 5 plus years of experience building high-performance GUI or web applications
• Hands-on experience with WebGPU, WebGL, WebAssembly, or equivalent graphics technologies
• Deep understanding of low-level rendering pipelines and rendering techniques
• Strong experience with React and modern web application architecture
• A track record of building real-time, data-intensive applications under heavy load
• C++ or Rust experience is a strong plus
• Low ego, collaborative approach with the ability to take full technical ownership

Compensation

The estimated base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $300,000 per year. Total compensation, including performance-based bonus, is expected to range from $300,000 to $800,000 depending on experience, level, and individual performance. Final compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, and interview performance.
