Job summary

Andreessen Horowitz is hiring a Staff Security Technical Program Manager to run the operating system of the a16z Security team. You will own vulnerability management, drive cross-team security initiatives to completion, and manage sprint planning, OKRs, timelines, and documentation.

This role requires in-office presence two days a week (Tuesday/Thursday) in San Francisco, with occasional days in Menlo Park.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical program management experience in security domains.
• Experience owning vulnerability management programs at scale with clear SLAs and executive reporting.
• Technical fluency to discuss findings, severity, and risk with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own security remediation across the firm end-to-end from findings to backlog.
• Run the vulnerability management program: coverage, cadence, exceptions and risk reporting.
• Collaborate with IT, Legal, HR, and Compliance to keep reviews fast and consistent.
• Build and run the team's execution rhythm: Sprint planning, OKRs, ticket hygiene, and documentation.
