Job summary

Aurora Innovation seeks a Staff Technical Product & Program Manager, Security, to embed security across hardware, software and services. You will bridge Security and Product teams, drive strategy, and lead cross‑functional programs.

This role engages with suppliers, defines security roadmaps, and reports on KPIs for product and security risks. Flexible US locations (MTV, SFO, PIT, SEA, DET) with hybrid work; full remote is not available.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Technical Product, Program or Product Management in automotive or AV domain with cybersecurity experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM fields.
• Proven ability to develop product strategies and lead large-scale programs integrating hardware and software.
• Strong communication and leadership to influence cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience directing product development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams to define security features, assess risks, prioritize initiatives, and implement strategic controls.
• Engage with suppliers and partners to align on cybersecurity features and ensure timely delivery.
• Develop high-level security roadmaps with cross-functional dependencies and critical paths.
• Lead security integration, governance, and risk management across hardware to applications.
• Monitor and report KPIs related to product and security risks for data-driven decisions.
