Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to join the Application Security team, focusing on browser, web, and memory safety.

You will lead security architecture for the Lens runtime and its web clients, shaping threat models, sandboxing, and cross-origin protections. You will conduct deep code reviews, drive mitigations, mentor engineers, and partner with multiple teams to reduce attack surface while balancing performance.

Qualifications

• Strong memory-safety and vulnerability analysis experience.
• Deep web security expertise including SOP/CORS/XSS/CSRF.
• Experience shipping security improvements for browser-like runtimes.

Responsibilities

• Own security architecture and roadmap for Snap’s Lens runtime and web clients.
• Lead web security across Snap’s web content and embedded web content.
• Conduct deep code review, vulnerability research, and exploitability analysis.
