Snap Inc. in California seeks a Staff Security Engineer to own the security architecture for the Lens runtime and web components. You will partner with engineering teams to design isolation and containment, including sandboxing and IPC, to prevent renderer compromises.

You’ll lead web security across Snap’s web clients, review code, perform vulnerability research, and drive mitigations. Strong C/C++, memory-safety, and tooling skills required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of post-Bachelor’s security engineering experience, or equivalent combinations.
• Hands-on memory-corruption analysis and web security experience on complex platforms.

Responsabilités

• Own security architecture and roadmap for Snap’s Lens runtime and browser components.
• Lead web security across Snap’s web clients and embedded content, eliminate XSS/CSRF and related issues.
• Conduct deep code review, vulnerability research, and exploitability analysis across runtimes and web-facing code.
• Drive memory-safety improvements, mitigations, and bug bounty program leadership.
