Washington University in St. Louis invites applications for a Staff Scientist in the oncology division. The selected candidate will lead projects linking mechanistic lymphoma biology with clinical questions, using mouse models, in vitro systems, and human biospecimens.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent experience; PhD preferred.
• At least 3 years of laboratory operations experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with mouse handling and in vivo studies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs research protocols, develops and refines data collection and management procedures.
• Performs complex lab techniques including cell culture, flow cytometry, DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, and prep for sequencing.
• Designs and conducts mouse studies, including tumor and treatment studies with IACUC oversight.
• Performs and directs processing and analysis of human biospecimens under IRB protocols.
• Collaborates with students and postdocs, contributing expertise and continuity.
• Integrates lab findings with clinical data across multi-institutional collaborations.
• Performs data and statistical analyses, including high-dimensional cytometry data.
• Contributes to manuscripts, grants, and presentations; maintains rigorous records.
