Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD/MD or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years post-doctoral research experience.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to manage moderate-size projects with PI input.
• Experience with rodent behavior.
• Experience with molecular biology and biochemistry techniques such as cloning, qRT-PCR, and protein analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead behavioral studies and train staff in behavioral methods.
• Oversee wet-lab procedures including cloning, CRISPR, RNA/protein isolation, and imaging.
• Maintain lab organization, safety, and inventory.
• Perform ex vivo tissue processing and dissections as needed.
• Assist in manuscript preparation and conference presentations.
