Job summary

Spectrum Environmental Services, Inc. in Alabaster, Alabama seeks an environmental professional to support field investigations, site assessments, soil and groundwater sampling, and project coordination.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Geology, Environmental Science, Biology or related field and has 1+ year in environmental work. Commitment to safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Geology, Environmental Science, Biology or related field.
• 1+ years' environmental experience is a plus.
• Experience with Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments.
• Collect soil and groundwater samples.
• Conduct geologic evaluations.
• Perform mold evaluations.
• Coordinate tasks and projects.
• Be willing to take on additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Biology or related environmental field
• 1+ years’ experience in the environmental field is a plus
• Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
• Soil and groundwater sampling
• Geologic Evaluations
• Mold Evaluations.
• Assessment staff training and development
• Task/Project management and coordination
• Be willing to take on other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.
