Agility Robotics seeks a Staff Robot Architect - Platform Software Specialist to lead the controls, networking, and firmware architecture of humanoid platforms. This senior role partners across mechanical, electrical, software, perception, safety, and control teams to define scalable system architecture for robot fleets.

You will integrate sensing, compute, control, actuation, and safety into cohesive, performant platforms, guiding decisions from ideation through production.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in robotics platform software development (senior/lead)
• 5+ years controls system development (senior lead)
• 3+ years network/compute system development (senior lead)
• 3+ years firmware development from bare-metal to network
• Experience delivering complex electromechanical robotic systems
• Knowledge of functional safety concepts and related certifications

Aufgaben

• Own end-to-end robot network and controls architecture for scalability and reliability
• Provide technical direction to architects and cross-functional teams
• Lead trade studies and architecture reviews considering safety, cost, and reliability
• Collaborate with software controls and simulation teams for modeling and performance analysis
• Translate requirements into testable, traceable system architecture
• Influence long-term roadmap from user needs and field performance
