Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking a pediatric nurse to provide family-centered care through the patient’s episode of care. • Engages in the workforce community by staying aware of changes, participating in data collection or auditing, understanding Quality Improvement, and reporting updates back to staff.

Occasionally staff are required to float to other Nationwide Children’s Primary Care Clinics to accommodate staffing needs.

Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

Education Requirement:

Licensure Requirement:

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio, required.

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, required

Experience:

Three years of pediatric clinical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
