Job summary

OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital is seeking a Staff RN for Preop/PACU Outpatient Surgery. The role requires 3 years of recent Preop, PACU, Critical Care, or ED experience and a BSN.

You will provide nursing care to patients and collaborate with the health care team, ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Responsibilities include initial assessments, planning and evaluating outcomes, and leading process improvements as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a BSN.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Minimum 3 years of recent Preop, PACU, Critical Care or ED nursing experience.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing nursing assessments for patients in Preop/PACU.
• Document plans and outcomes based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems.
• Implement and evaluate care plans; adjust as needed with the care team.
• Demonstrate leadership in process improvement to support quality and safety.
• Operate within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act; delegate appropriately to LPNs and UAPs.
