This position operates in the Neuro Spine Unit 1, requires a current RN license from Ohio, and a BSN must be obtained within five years. Evening shifts apply, with 40 scheduled weekly hours.
Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse, acute health care settings. The department operates 24/7/365. The RN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) following the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. According to department policies and nursing care standards, the RN provides professional nursing care services, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for assigned patients.
