Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse who independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. The RN will manage the care of an assigned group of patients, following the hospital's philosophy of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Requires a nursing degree, GA RN licensure in good standing, and BLS certification; BSN and two years of RN

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Manages care of an assigned group of patients in alignment with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital.

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
2. Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
3. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED:

1. BSN degree
2. Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
3. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
4. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
