Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle. You will use nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, coordinating activities across the care team.

Your responsibilities include maintaining standards of practice and promoting professional growth within our policies. RN licensure in Georgia and BCLS are required; hospital experience preferred, with PRN options available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• No experience required; New Graduates of a nursing program eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• Georgia RN licensure or multi-state license required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Maintains standards of practice and coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff.
• Demonstrates professional growth and accountability within organizational policies and procedures.
