Pratt Regional Medical Center Corporation in Pratt, KS is seeking a night shift RN to deliver professional nursing care per physician orders. You will assess patient condition, administer prescribed drugs, document progress, and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include patient and family teaching, ensuring safety, and leveraging IT tools like CPSI. Weekend/holiday rotations may be required; breastfeeding skills are needed.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Kansas required.
• BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required.
• Proficient in Windows; basic computer literacy.
• Experience with CPSI documentation software is a plus.
• Breastfeeding skills needed.

Type of Shift: Night Shift - 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Job Summary: Offers professional nursing services in the treatment and care of assigned patients in accordance with physicians' orders. Provides for the comfort and well-being of patients by assessing condition, providing treatments, administering prescribed drugs, and documenting progress and other observations. Coordinates nursing care for patients and participates in patient and family teaching. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards. Provides general nursing care to patients in the hospital.

Job Qualifications: Licensed RN in the state of Kansas. BLS, NRP, STABLE certified. Requires basic computer literacy within a Windows environment, including word processing functions, use of the internet, and computer-based education. Keyboarding ability required. Experience using CPSI documentation software will be an asset, to include nursing assessments, electronic MAR with bedside barcode scanning, and Computerized Physician Order Entry. Successful candidates should be ready to use information technology in a meaningful way, in order to improve patient outcomes and ensure patient safety. Breastfeeding skills needed.

Additional Information: Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
