Job summary

Cooper University Health Care seeks a Registered Nurse at Cape Regional Medical Center in Cape May Court House, NJ. The RN will assume responsibility for a group of patients during a designated shift, evaluate and document care, and assist physicians during examinations and procedures.

Graduate of NLN-accredited School of Nursing with NJ RN license and AHA BLS CPR certification required. 11a–11p shift; strong communication and teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.
• Current NJ-RN License.
• Current American Heart Association, BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and supervises and provides care utilizing the nursing process.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Promote patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications and self-care skills.
• Follow established policies and procedures.
• Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors.
