Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in Cape May County is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assume responsibility for a group of patients, evaluate patients, implement and document nursing care, and assist physicians during examinations and procedures.

Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing and NJ-RN License required. Current AHA BLS CPR certification; ACLS within 3 months and Critical Care course within 6 months of hire. Specific shift requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.
• Follows established policies and procedures.
• Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors.
