Work Schedule Details: Weekend program, Sat/Sun 1900-0700
The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a specific group of patients in an inpatient setting. This role demonstrates competency in caring for an adult population. The Staff RN-Inpatient role is based on the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, with additional duties as assigned.
Clinical competence and experience in managing target patient populations specific to the area of employment.
Completion of an accredited School of Nursing program is required for RN licensure. Non-BSN nurses with less than one year of experience must enroll in a BSN or higher degree program within 15 months of hire, completing it within 5 years (6 years for MSN, DNP, or PhD). A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
Current Wisconsin RN license or multi-state license via NLC required. BLS certification within 90 days, ACLS within 6 months, PALS and TNCC within one year of hire.
