Job summary

Position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, GA RN license, and BLS certification. Preferred candidates may have a BSN, 2 years of RN experience, and additional Life Support credentials

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree (preferred).
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) (preferred).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units (preferred).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
