He/She/They are accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.Cardiac Specialty/ Cardiac Specialty Intermediate is specialized in taking care of a variety of cardiovascular diseases which includes:Peripheral Vascular: Angiogram, ThrombectomyStructural Heart: TAVR, SAVR, CABG, Heart Catherization +/- interventionsHeart Failure: Diuresis, Echocardiogram, Blood Pressure SupportElectrophysiology: Pacemaker/ICD, Ablation, Cardioversion, Drug Loading, Temporary PacemakersThe Cardiac Specialty Intermediate portion of the unit requires specialized training to become competent in caring for that patient population.
