Job summary

Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, OH is seeking a Night shift Registered Nurse in Cardiac Observation – FMC Main Campus. This full-time role offers pay range $33.50–$49.60 hourly and requires a state nursing license, CPR certification, and graduation from an accredited nursing program (Diploma/Associate/Bachelor).

You will deliver family-centered care, educate patients and families, document care, and collaborate with the care team. Previous nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality nursing care based on a family-centered approach.

Job Description

• Provides quality nursing care based on a family centered approach.
• Provides education for the patient and family/significant other from admission through discharge process.
• Provides thorough, concise, accurate and legible documentation of the nursing process.
• Works closely with physicians and other team members addressing patient/family concerns to ensure a smooth transition of care.
• Administers medications and performs treatments in an accurate safe manner.
• Ensures clinic processes and workflows comply with FMC policies and procedures.
• Ensures equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care, reporting malfunctions to proper department.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited nursing program, resulting in one of the following:

• Diploma in Nursing
• Associate's Degree in Nursing
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

• Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio.
• CPR required.
• Previous nursing experience preferred.

Must be able to physically exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work. Position may require frequent patient handling activity.
