Job summary

Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, OH is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the 5th Med/Surg at FMC Main Campus. The role features a Day shift with no travel and requires direct patient care using the nursing process.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and supervising care; providing patient and family education; accurate documentation; and collaboration with physicians and the care team to ensure smooth transitions. Ohio nursing license and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program, resulting in one of the following: Diploma in Nursing, Associate's Degree in Nursing, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio.
• CPR required.
• Previous nursing experience preferred.

• Works closely with physicians and other team members addressing patient/family concerns to ensure a smooth transition of care.
• Administers medications and performs treatments in an accurate safe manner.
• Ensures clinic processes and workflows comply with FMC policies and procedures.
• Ensures equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care, reporting malfunctions to proper department.
