Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Staff Antenna Test Software Engineer to join our radar systems team. You will test software architecture for phased array development, lead software integration efforts, mentor junior engineers and collaborate with hardware design to improve test methodologies.

Candidates should have a STEM degree and extensive experience with C++, Python, RF test equipment, and software leadership, with the ability to work under security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with significant experience in software.
• Professional software development in C++ and Python.
• Experience with RF/Electrical test equipment is required.
• Strong software architecture and leadership experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and active Secret Clearance (SAP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Test software architecture and development for phased array testing.
• Test software for automating test processes and data analysis.
• Lead test software development teams across multiple projects.
• Mentor early career engineers and define software requirements.
• Develop test plans and lead software integration efforts.
• Support production test and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with hardware/design engineering for improvements.
• Maintain sensitivity to cost, schedule, and quality, and follow NG policies.
